We went to
San Diego for a conference this week for Bill's work. What a wonderful place. The weather is beautiful. It sarted out a little bit in the cold side but as the week went on it warmed up. Of course the battery on my camera went dead so I didn't have it with me when I was at the beach. It was absolutely wonderful. I love watching the ocean, I guess it's because we don't have one to look at everyday. We went to the Usual places, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo but one place that was so neat to visit was the USS Midway. It is an aircraft carrier that has been retired. We had one of the dinners there and got to take a tour. One of our tour guides was a retired ship captain. I asked him a whole lot of questions. it was great. We stayed and the Loews resort on Coronado Island. They fed us 3 great meals everyday. The only thing that could have been better would have been to have my kids there with me to enjoy everything.

That sounds so fun! I am glad you had such a great time. I still think we should do Disneyland for our birthdays in the fall. :)

Fun, warm, little getaway! I'm glad you had a good time... is that Christmas music I'm hearing??? Yea, with the weather we're having I want to know when Santa is coming? Ha Ha.
