So after almost 18 years we finally got new carpet in our bedroom. The old brown stuff just had to go. Fresh paint and new carpet and I am in heaven. We also declutterized ( I don't know if that is even a word but it works) Needless to say it looks wonderful. Because of the leak and the damage that was done to the girls room and the downstairs bathroom we have been able to replace flooring there also. The girls room looks great . So fresh and clean. I would not have asked to have the leak in the first place but because of it we were able to start fresh. Now I look around the house and can see all the other areas that need painting and new carpet. I just wish that money tree we planted would start producing. Luke is my constant companion. He is always following me around the house so here he is sporting his new BYU bandana. He is such a BYU fan. Go Cougars!

Your room looks fantastic! Is the bedroom furniture new, too? I agree--I would never have wished for a flood, but I love the work that was done in my house. Luke is adorable. Gotta love him!
