What a fun week we had at girls camp. We went to Heber Valley Camp. It is such a beautiful place. They call it the Garden of Eden because of all the wonderful scenery and all of the animals that are so close by. We saw several deer that would walk right through our camp and sometimes just sit under a tree to rest. We saw a moose when we were hiking to the lake. It is so wonderful to be away from all the noise and stress and just be able to enjoy Heavenly Fathers creations. The girls had fun and learned a lot. They have what is called a Challenge Course where the girls get to try different things that help them learn to have courage, to trust someone else and to have faith in themselves that they can accomplish anything. One of the activities required them to climb the pole, walk across a wire and ride the zip line down the other side. All if the girls did it. Yes, Even I did it. It looks a lot easier from the ground. My heart was beating like crazy but it was fun riding the zip line down. I am glad that both Hayley and Katlyn were at camp with me this year. It was a wonderful experience.
